Father, Brother Kill Italian-Pakistani Girl For ‘honor’ In Gujarat

Gujarat ( Pakistan Point News – 24th Apr, 2018) An Italian-Pakistani girl was allegedly killed for honor in Gujarat area of Punjab on Tuesday.

According to media reports, an Italian girl of Pakistani origin Sana Cheema was found dead on April 18. The family members considered it an accident and buried her. However, various posts and reports relating to the alleged murder of Sana, aged 26, surfaced on social media and Italian media.

This led to an investigation ordered by the Gujarat district police officer (DPO).

The father of the girl, Ghulam Mustafa, wanted to marry his daughter in his relatives but Sana wanted to marry in Italy. Police said that Mustafa allegedly killed Sana after torture in the name of honor with his son Adnan Mustafa and brother Mazhar Iqbal’s aide.

The police registered a case against the three accused in the jurisdiction of SHO. However, they have not been able to arrest the accused so far.
